Buffy Summers is the slayer, but after being expelled from her old high school for burning down the gym (it was full of vampires) she just wants to forget about her destiny and be a normal sixteen-year-old girl. She and her mother move from L.A. to Sunnydale, California. A new school, new friends, and a chance to start over.
But Sunnydale is on top of a Hellmouth - a center of mystical convergence that draws evil and demonic forces - and Buffy soon realizese that she will have to pick up her stakes and hoky water in order to save her new friends.
My Views:
I think this was an amazing first episode, we started to learn what Buffy was about and they really defined that it was not going to be exactly like the movie. I really loved how they added the character Jesse and made you think that he was going to be a regular. I also thought that the plot drew you in quick and kept you drawn in. I really connected to how she felt, she jsut wanted to be a normal teenager, she never asked to be different.
